Safety Policy

Emergency guidance, privacy boundaries, provider readiness, and incident escalation.

Version 1.0Effective and last updated July 12, 2026
Change log

July 12, 2026: Initial operational version added for the MaintnanceAI pilot-readiness release. Pending legal review before broad commercial outreach.

Emergencies

MaintnanceAI is not an emergency service. For fire, suspected gas leak, immediate electrical danger, serious flooding near electricity, or an immediate threat to life or property, leave the unsafe area when appropriate and contact 911, the fire department, or the relevant utility.

Information boundaries

  • Do not expose a resident's full address to an unselected provider
  • Share entry instructions only when needed for an assigned job
  • Never place door codes or sensitive access details in public notes
  • Report suspected identity, claim, or account misuse immediately

Provider readiness

Listed, claimed, verified, job-ready, and trusted are different statuses. A public listing alone is not proof of participation, qualifications, licensing, insurance, or background screening.
